Despite the 2-1 defeat at the Maradona , Patrick Vieira sees the glass half full. The Genoa coach commented on the defeat against Napoli , highlighting his team's progress and admitting the Azzurri's technical superiority.
"I think we played very well in the first half, both tactically and in terms of our discipline on the pitch ," Vieira told DAZN. " Unfortunately, our intensity cost us dearly in the second half, where we dropped back too much instead of staying high and pressing. Napoli are full of quality, and we lacked a bit of experience at times."
