VILLA LITERNO – An illegal workshop, abandoned paint waste and constructions without permits: this is what the Carabinieri of the VILLA LITERNO Station discovered. Villa Literno together with the Arpac staff of Caserta during an inspection carried out on Thursday 23 October in a private area of the municipal territory.
The inspection, triggered by several reports, revealed the existence of an irregular artisanal ironworking business. Inside the premises, officers found numerous full and empty paint containers and processing residues with no traceability or disposal documentation, in violation of hazardous waste regulations. Furthermore, the workshop did not have a compliant ventilation system, posing a health and safety risk.
Further urban planning investigations led to the discovery of two residential buildings, constructed without any authorization and equipped with toilets.
