Castellammare - A new blow to the D'Alessandro clan of Castellammare. This morning, during an anti-Camorra operation launched at dawn, six leading members of the Scanzano clan were arrested.
Officers from the local police station, supported by the Naples Flying Squad, on orders from the Anti-Mafia Directorate (DDA), served a precautionary prison order on Pasquale D'Alessandro, the eldest son of the deceased godfather Michele, who was released in 2022 after 19 years in prison. He was also held in prison with his cousin Giovannone D'Alessandro, Biagio Maiello, Michele Abbruzzese's wife, and two other people.
All are charged with Camorra-style association, extortion, and other crimes.

This is sobering news about the Camorra problem in our country. The situation doesn't seem to be improving, and the clans continue to operate relentlessly. We hope the authorities will act more decisively to combat this scourge.
