CASTEL VOLTURNO – A routine check turned into a new attack on cybercrime on the Caserta coast. The Carabinieri of the Caserta Police Station Castel Volturno They reported a 43-year-old man, a resident of the city, for possession and unauthorized use of non-cash payment instruments. The operation, conducted as part of the anti-property crimes efforts coordinated by the Mondragone Territorial Unit, began yesterday evening.

During a personal and home search, officers found five credit cards registered to people other than the suspect. The 43-year-old was unable to provide any explanation as to their origin or any information identifying their rightful owners. This detail led investigators to suspect a possible connection to scams or computer fraud.

The cards were immediately seized and collected, remaining at the disposal of the Judicial Authorities pending their filing with the Office of the Crime Records. Investigations are continuing to verify any illicit transactions and trace the owners of the payment methods. The investigation is part of a broader control effort conducted by the Carabinieri to combat the growing prevalence of financial crimes and online scams in the area. I find it very strange to have five different credit cards and not know anything about them. Maybe it should be harder for people to do these things, but the law is increasingly complicated to understand.
