Ercolano - The trial for the explosion of an illegal fireworks factory that occurred on November 18, 2024, in the Patacca district, which cost the lives of three very young illegal workers, is now in its final stages. It is taking place before the Naples courthouse, where a crucial new hearing was held today, Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
Massimo Viscusi, the Tafciu family's lawyer, explicitly asked the judges to recognize the aggravating circumstance of premeditation for those responsible for the tragedy.
According to investigators, Pasquale Punzo and Vincenzo D'Angelo were the managers of the illegal plant, and are facing trial for triple voluntary homicide with eventual intent, as well as gangmastering.
