Marcianise – The tragedy that shook the community of Marcianise this morning is unfortunately finding a sad and tragic truth.
12-year-old Federica, a student, lost her life after falling from the second floor of her middle school, "Calcara," on Via Novelli.
The hypothesis that is taking shape as the hours pass is that of a voluntary act, a suicide made even more chilling by a note found on his desk: a few, terrible words, "I'm sorry."
According to initial reports, the tragedy occurred shortly after class began. The young woman asked the teacher for permission to use the bathroom, but never returned to class.
Instead of heading to the restroom, she allegedly went to the building's emergency stairs, from where she then jumped. The alarm was raised when teachers, concerned about her prolonged absence, began searching for her, culminating in the tragic discovery of her lifeless body in the schoolyard.
Officers from the local police station responded immediately to the scene and began all necessary investigations. Investigators are working to reconstruct the exact events and understand the reasons behind the alleged extreme act. The presence of other people at the time of the fall has currently been ruled out.
The entire school community is in shock. The news spread quickly, casting a shadow of disbelief and grief over the school. Investigators interviewed teachers, classmates, and parents in an effort to shed light on a tragedy that leaves everyone speechless and raises painful questions.

This is a very sad event that has affected our community, and it's hard to believe that a twelve-year-old girl could do something like this. It would be important to understand what led her to this terrible act; perhaps something was wrong.
