Un anti-drug raid in the province of Naples led to nine arrests and the seizure of hashish, cocaine, crack and marijuana. The operation, conducted by Carabinieri of the Provincial Command of Naples, affected seven municipalities: Ercolano, Castello di Cisterna, Sant'Anastasia, Lacco Ameno (Ischia), Afragola, Villaricca and Mugnano.
A series of widespread interventions confirm the investigative pressure on drug dealing centers in the metropolitan area.
Ercolano: Couple in car with hashish hidden in bra
The first arrest comes from Herculaneum, where the police stopped a car in via Resina: a couple was carrying 99 grams of hashish, with the woman attempting to hide the drugs in her bra. Both end up in prison.

Cisterna Castle: 19-year-old with crack, cocaine, and €1200 in the 219th district
In district 219 of Castello di Cisterna, known for drug dealing, a 19 year old is found with 24 doses of cocaine, 54 doses of crack e over 1.200 euro believed to be proceeds of retail sales. Arrested and placed under house arrest.

Sant'Anastasia: Cannabis cultivation on family land
A Sant'Anastasia, at the foot of Vesuvius, the carabinieri discover three cannabis plants almost two meters tall, for a total of 4 kilos. 50 grams of dried marijuana and 20 grams of hashish were also found. Arrested uncle and nephew, both busy packaging drugs.
