NAPLES – Access to the "Maradona" stadium has been denied to fans from Lombardy and residents of Germany for the Serie A match between SSC Napoli and Atalanta, scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025. The measure was ordered by the Prefect of Naples, Michele di Bari, at the recommendation of the Committee for the Analysis of the Security of Sports Events, in agreement with the Naples Police Headquarters, which identified high-risk areas for public order.
The ban on ticket sales applies to all residents of the Lombardy region, with the sole exception of SSC Napoli loyalty card holders purchased before November 10, 2025. The similar restriction has been extended to residents of Germany. This decision is part of the preventive measures adopted to ensure the safety of fans and citizens, avoiding potential tensions related to the presence of visiting supporters.
The authorities stressed the importance of complying with the provisions, emphasizing that the measure is not intended to penalize fans, but to protect public order and the proper enjoyment of the sporting event.
