Naples – A night of tension and fear in the heart of the Pendino neighborhood ended with the arrest of a 30-year-old Neapolitan man, accused of stalking his father.
The man's nightmare, forced to endure his son's constant and violent demands for money, was ended thanks to the timely intervention of officers from the Decumani Police Station.
It all started in the middle of the night, when at the Operations Room of the Police Headquarters A report was received of a disruptive individual who was causing a disturbance in the street. A patrol car, already engaged in territorial patrol, responded promptly.
Upon arriving on the scene, the police identified the reported individual, a young man already known to the police, who at the sight of them went into a rage, screaming and shaking uncontrollably.
The family drama
While officers were busy subduing and calming the 30-year-old, they were approached by a man, visibly distressed and shaken: the boy's father. With a voice broken by desperation, he told the officers yet another chapter in a drama unfolding within the confines of their home.
Shortly before, his son had threatened him and attempted to force his way into the house, violently demanding money. A scenario, the exasperated man explained, that had unfortunately been repeated for some time.
After hearing the victim's story and witnessing the apparent stalking, the 30-year-old was placed in handcuffs. After gathering all the necessary evidence, the officers arrested him on charges of stalking. The man was taken to the police station to await orders from the judicial authorities.
