The State Police's extraordinary operations in Nola continue unabated to combat illegal possession of weapons and drug trafficking. Yesterday morning, officers from the local police station conducted a check at an abandoned building located in the Aiano district.
During the search, a 12-gauge sawed-off shotgun, an air rifle, an antique pistol, and 90 rounds of ammunition of various calibers were found and seized inside a well-hidden bag.
The operation represents a further step by the Naples Police Headquarters in combating crime and preventing incidents of violence related to the illegal distribution of firearms. The seized material has been placed in custody pending legal proceedings.

I believe it's essential to continue these controls because citizen safety is paramount. The authorities must act decisively to stop crime in all its forms.
It's true that law enforcement does a good job, but people also need to be educated about the use of guns and drugs to prevent similar incidents from happening again in the future.
The State Police operation in Nola was very important because it must stop the trafficking of weapons and drugs. But more controls are needed in other areas to prevent incidents of violence.
