The State Police's extraordinary operations in Nola continue unabated to combat illegal possession of weapons and drug trafficking. Yesterday morning, officers from the local police station conducted a check at an abandoned building located in the Aiano district.

During the search, a 12-gauge sawed-off shotgun, an air rifle, an antique pistol, and 90 rounds of ammunition of various calibers were found and seized inside a well-hidden bag.

The operation represents a further step by the Naples Police Headquarters in combating crime and preventing incidents of violence related to the illegal distribution of firearms. The seized material has been placed in custody pending legal proceedings.
