SANTA MARIA A VICO (CE) – The All Souls' Day long weekend turned into an occasion for illegality for three men. Carabinieri from the Santa Maria a Vico station caught three illegal parking attendants working near the municipal cemetery, where they had improvised a parking "tax" for residents visiting their loved ones.
The raid began on the morning of Sunday, November 2, when the military, engaged in extraordinary checks to ensure order and security during the influx of visitors, identified three people already known to the police: a 21-year-old and a minor from Maddaloni, together with T.

The first two were fined administratively for traffic violations, while the 46-year-old—a repeat offender—was reported at liberty for illegally practicing parking or car parking. All three also face mandatory expulsion orders from the municipality.
The operation is part of a broader plan of controls implemented by the Carabinieri to combat incidents of petty crime and illegal activities in highly frequented public spaces, particularly on busy days such as All Souls' Day.
