Trentola Ducenta – A high-speed chase shattered the tranquility of an ordinary morning on the streets of Trentola Ducenta and Parete. The two young men, driving a Fiat 500X, attempted a reckless escape upon seeing a Carabinieri patrol. The chase ended with their arrest and the seizure of goods of dubious origin.
It all began yesterday, November 15, during a routine patrol. Officers from the Trentola Ducenta station ordered a Fiat 500X carrying two young men to stop. Instead of stopping, the driver stepped on the accelerator, sparking a dangerous race through city traffic.

The escape ended on Via Romaniello, in the municipality of Parete. Thanks to a safe maneuver, the officers were able to stop the vehicle and identify the two occupants: VP, an 18-year-old from Caivano, and XB, a 22-year-old from Santa Maria Capua Vetere. The younger of the two, who was behind the wheel, was found to be without a driving license.
A search of the car, which turned out to be rented from a company in the Naples area, revealed the possible reason for the commotion: two new bags from a well-known luxury brand.
The young men were unable to justify their possession, prompting the immediate seizure of the goods. They were charged with resisting a public official and conspiracy to receive stolen goods, as well as an administrative fine for driving without a license, against the 18-year-old.
