ACERRA – Another episode of domestic violence in the Naples area. Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 61-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, accused of domestic abuse. Officers from the ACERRA Police Station Acerra They intervened after a report reached the Operations Room indicating a fight in progress inside a house.
When the patrol car arrived on the scene, the scene was clear. A woman, very agitated, called for help from the officers and identified her husband as the perpetrator of the recent attack. She explained that it wasn't the first time, that the violence had been going on for some time, and that the man had attacked her in the past.
Faced with witnesses and clear signs of yet another assault, officers immediately stopped the 61-year-old and arrested him. The police's prompt intervention prevented more serious consequences and once again brought the spotlight to a phenomenon that continues to occur within the home.

This is something that should never happen. Domestic violence is a serious problem, and the police were right to intervene. We hope this woman gets the help and support she deserves.
