Afragola - The fight against drug trafficking in the northern area of Naples continues. Yesterday afternoon, during an extraordinary operation organized by the Police Headquarters, the State Police arrested two young men already known to law enforcement between Afragola and Frattaminore.
While patrolling the area, officers from the Afragola Police Station observed a 20-year-old man suspiciously emerging from a home. The young man, upon being checked, was found in possession of nine small bags of marijuana and ten small bags of hashish, all packaged and likely ready for retail sale.
The suspicion that there might be more inside the apartment prompted the operators to carry out a further check.

The search led to the discovery of a bag containing approximately 20 grams of cocaine and a precision scale, a typical tool used to package the doses.
The 23-year-old was arrested, while the 20-year-old was reported at large.
Both will now have to answer for the crime of illicit possession of narcotic substances.
The Naples Police Headquarters announced that checks will continue in the coming days, with particular attention to areas deemed most susceptible to drug dealing.
