The Teatro Totò season continues with momentum, once again lighting up its hall on Via Frediano Cavara in Foria with “Tutto in una notte,” a brilliant comedy written by Gaetano Liguori, who also directs it with Rosario Verde.
Running from November 21st to 30th—with a double performance on Saturdays at 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm, and the usual Sunday performance at 6:00 pm—the show draws audiences into a contemporary tale where nothing is quite as it seems.
Misunderstandings, betrayals, mistaken identities, and sudden twists and turns make up a fast-paced plot, supported by a meticulously crafted comic device. It's a frenetically paced situation comedy, constantly providing surprises thanks to clever ideas and carefully calibrated gags, which transform the story into an irresistible theatrical game.
Leading the Totò Theatre Company is the beloved and acclaimed Davide Ferri, supported by the energetic stage presence of Peppe Laurato and the verve of Edoardo Guadagno. The close-knit ensemble is rounded out by other highly talented performers, who give the comedy a lively, ensemble feel.
Gaetano Liguori's solid and inventive direction orchestrates everything with a sure hand, highlighting timing, dynamics, and that fresh, immediate comedy that has always characterized the language of the Teatro Totò.
