The anti-drug trafficking strategy launched by the Naples Police Headquarters is yielding further results. During extraordinary checks conducted in various areas of the city, officers from the Flying Squad made an arrest in an apartment on Via Scotellaro, where a 49-year-old Neapolitan woman was found to be storing a significant quantity of narcotics.
During the raid, officers discovered 112 packages of cocaine ready for sale, weighing approximately 62 grams in total, as well as four packages of hashish, each weighing approximately 105 grams. Alongside the drugs, they also found €480 in banknotes of various denominations and all the materials needed to package the drugs.
The discovery led to the suspect's immediate arrest for illegal possession of narcotics, while further investigations are continuing to clarify the supply channels and any associated distribution network.
