The season at the New Teatro Troisi on Via Leopardi, led with artistic passion by Pino Oliva, continues with vigor. After a string of successes, the Neapolitan stage welcomes Arteteca, the duo of Enzo Iuppariello and Monica Lima, beloved protagonists of contemporary Italian comedy, from November 6th to 9th and November 13th to 16th—with two performances on Saturday and Sunday.
The two return to the stage with a new challenge: “Operation Stork,” a brilliant comedy that combines the frenetic pace of their comedy with an authentic reflection on the desires and contradictions of parenthood in today’s world.
Written by Arteteca themselves together with Ciro Ceruti, who also directs, the show follows the adventures of a couple in love grappling with the dream – and the difficulties – of becoming parents.
Everything changes when an artificial intelligence-powered home assistant announces the arrival of the “fertile window.”

Alongside Enzo and Monica, on stage are Luisa Esposito, Enzo Varone, Antonio Vitale, and Luca Tarantino, while Alessandro Crescenzo's original music accompanies the rhythm of the narration.
"Operation Stork" offers a brilliant and never banal comedy, capable of making you laugh out loud but also touching deep chords: the longing for family, the weight of expectations, and the impact of technology on your love life. Between laughter and moments of tenderness, Arteteca offers audiences a universal, tender, and unsettling story, where the absurd becomes a mirror of reality.
The show confirms the vitality of contemporary Neapolitan comic theater, capable of combining lightheartedness and reflection, laughter and everyday poetry. An unmissable event for those who love theater that entertains and makes you think at the same time.

I've read about the show and it seems interesting but there are too many things I don't quite understand, like the artificial intelligence part which I don't know if it's useful or just a comedy gimmick, we'll see.
