In Arzano, the safety and hygiene situation is worsening at the Tiberio Primary School, where the presence of rats near the building has alarmed parents and school staff. City Councilor Luigi De Rosa raised the alarm, harshly attacking the Aruta administration for what he calls inefficient and negligent management.
"Coexistence with rodents poses a serious health risk," De Rosa emphasizes, "putting the health of children and school staff at risk. It is unacceptable that these conditions exist in a place dedicated to the education and growth of our children."
Not only rats, but also unpruned and unsafe trees surround the schoolyard, further exacerbating the situation. "Despite the allocated funds and promises made, the pruning work has not been carried out," the councilor emphasizes, "leaving unstable trees in the courtyard that could pose a real risk to students."
De Rosa urges the city administration to "no longer turn a blind eye to problems of this gravity" and demands "immediate, transparent, and decisive measures." "Children's safety is non-negotiable, and Arzano cannot afford to show such disregard for its schools," he concludes. "A civilized city is judged by the care it devotes to educational facilities, and today this city is under very severe scrutiny."
The situation highlights the local administration's priorities, as it awaits swift action to ensure adequate sanitation and regular maintenance of school facilities, as families have long been clamoring for.
