Arzano - Despite only having half the expected number of officers on staff, 24 out of 56, local police checks in Arzano are reaching significant numbers in the fight against environmental crimes.
Regarding separate waste collection, the 45% target has been reached for this year, which is not yet over, thanks to local checks by officials who often relied on the assistance of company workers at apartment buildings, fining offenders.
This is due to a constant commitment in the territory where there is no shortage of other countless tasks to be carried out.
Checks, seizures, sanctions, and targeted actions have ensured that textile waste is no longer found in the area (except in one case where the local police quickly reported a company and returned the waste), tires, paint, WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment), industrial waste, construction aggregates, etc.
These are also associated with a prevention and information operation carried out during checks, such as those carried out by the administrative police at businesses, construction workers at building sites, and others.

The activity will not stop in the next few days either.

It's interesting to see how inspections are increasing, but I wonder if there's really any real impact on environmental crimes. The recycling rate seems good, but I don't know if it's sufficient.
