Arzano – What's been happening these days following the arrest of the child robbers is causing quite a stir. They're posting videos and stories on TikTok and Instagram cheering on their friends.
Phrases like "we will never be weak because we have learned from the strongest," "I love you," "semp cu te a vita," "comm si omm sang mi anche questo passa" or "tu si o dang mi tutt a vita." The Arzano group are children of these times, a bit of Gomorrah and a bit of gangsta rap videos, perhaps they have clouded their minds and mapped out in their minds life paths that certainly won't hold any good in store for them.
This isn't anything new, given that the use of social media platforms from prison cells is increasingly common. It all happened with disarming ease. The gang had been arrested by Carabinieri from the Arzano station following a robbery on Corso Salvatore d'Amato, an industrial area of the city.
According to the victim's account, the four men, armed with a pistol and a taser, stole some jewelry and an e-cigarette from him, and then fled in a car. Quickly, the local police station's patrol car located the same vehicle described by the victim, a high-powered Audi A3 rented in the central Piazza Marconi.
The four youths were on board but were immediately stopped by the Carabinieri. Investigations revealed that one of them still had the e-cigarette stolen from the victim, who later identified the three minors as the perpetrators of the robbery.

Subsequent house searches carried out at the homes of the four suspects also led to the discovery, in the apartment of one of the minors, of a pellet gun without a red cap, which was seized.
Investigations are underway to determine whether the four are responsible for other robberies in the area. Meanwhile, as the town reels in shock, those arrested are becoming influencers. Greetings from the cars transporting them to prison, kisses, photos, and videos of them with their families (some of whom are incarcerated), their faces sculpted with the anger and satisfaction of those who are becoming "important" by climbing the criminal hierarchy.
In Arzano, there has recently been a resurgence of bullying and vandalism, both on the streets and in the municipal park, where young thugs are said to be rampant at all hours, especially in the evenings. A few months ago, all the trees on the central Via Napoli were uprooted twice by unknown assailants.
