Officers from the Detachment became suspicious of the man driving a car registered in Spain. An examination of the vehicle's registration document raised alarm bells: irregular characters, unusual printing techniques, and discrepancies with the vehicle's chassis number revealed the counterfeit.

The vehicle was immediately seized, and the driver was reported to the judicial authorities. According to investigators, the car may have been part of a larger ring of stolen vehicles or vehicles rented with falsified documents.

The operation is part of a strategy of intensified checks by the Highway Police to combat illicit car trafficking. In recent months, this enforcement has led to the seizure of dozens of vehicles and their return to their rightful owners or rental companies.
