Naples - A massive anti-nightlife operation was conducted by the Carabinieri of the Naples Central Company, focusing attention on the city's hot spots: the famous bars of Chiaia and the historic center.

The main objective of the service was to combat the widespread lawlessness that often accompanies nightlife.

 Crackdown on illegal parking attendants

The main focus of the intervention was on the scourge of illegal parking attendants, figures who monopolize parking spaces on a daily basis, extorting money from motorists.

The outcome is significant: six men have been identified and reported to the Judicial Authorities.

All of them were reported, aggravated by their repeat offenses: they had already been caught engaging in the illegal activity over the last two years.

15-year-old repeat offender without a license: stopped on his scooter

In addition to combating illegal driving, the police conducted rigorous enforcement of the Highway Code. In this context, a repeat offender involving a minor was discovered: a 15-year-old was stopped while riding a scooter. The boy was found to be without a driving license, a license he had never obtained. He was also reported for having previously committed the same offense.

The enforcement activity resulted in a high number of fines: 37 undisciplined drivers were fined for various traffic violations. Five scooters were administratively seized. Among the most common violations was the absence of a helmet: five motorcyclists were fined for not wearing the mandatory safety device.

The operation involved a large number of individuals: in total, 109 were identified. Five of them, all young people, were found in possession of small quantities of narcotics for personal use. They were reported to the Prefecture, as required by law.

This operation is part of a broader territorial control strategy aimed at ensuring safety and respect for the law in high-traffic areas of the city.

It's important that the authorities carry out more frequent checks in nightlife areas. Illegal parking and unauthorized parking cannot be tolerated. I hope there will be more similar operations in the future to improve the situation.
