Naples - The fight against drug trafficking continues in Naples. In the last forty-eight hours, the State Police have conducted a major operation that led to the arrest of six people caught with drugs and cash.
The extraordinary checks arranged by the Police Headquarters have allowed them to hit the shop in different areas of the city and the province.
Cocaine on Via Correra: 49-year-old arrested with 28 grams
The first arrest was made on Via Francesco Saverio Correra, where officers from the Dante Police Station detained a 49-year-old Neapolitan man already known to law enforcement. The man was found in possession of a package containing approximately 28 grams of cocaine and €1.380 in banknotes of various denominations, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
Minor with 90 grams of hashish in Acerra
Of particular note is the case that emerged in Acerra, where officers arrested a 17-year-old Neapolitan boy.

Live Drug Dealing: Two Arrests in Afragola
On Monday evening, officers from the Afragola Police Station caught two young drug dealers red-handed on Via Vittorio Emanuele. A 20-year-old and a 21-year-old, both from Naples, were caught selling drugs to a buyer from inside a car. The raid resulted in the seizure of 26 doses of cocaine totaling 11 grams and €730 in cash.
Two more arrests between Scampia and the center
In Scampia, on Via Mianella, a 32-year-old Neapolitan man was arrested after being caught during a drug deal. He was carrying seven packages of cocaine and €130. The latest arrest occurred on Via Firenze, where officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station detained a 48-year-old Algerian man, already known to the dealers. The man, stopped after a brief resistance, was carrying four packages of hashish and €10.
All those arrested will be charged with illegal possession of narcotics. The operations confirm the intensified local controls implemented by the Police Headquarters to combat drug dealing in Naples.
