Calvi Risorta - Zero tolerance for incivility and the uncontrolled dumping of waste. The Carabinieri of the Calvi Risorta station have dealt a severe blow to the phenomenon, reporting and heavily fined a 37-year-old local woman caught red-handed dumping bags of garbage along a rural stretch of Via Masseria di Giano.
The operation took place late yesterday morning, November 14, 2025, during a service aimed at combating environmental crimes, intensified following numerous reports from residents concerned about the deterioration of farm roads.
The stakeout and the "blitz"
As the patrol patrol searched the agricultural area, the officers' watchful eyes focused on a small car parked at the edge of the road. The driver, a 37-year-old woman, was seen removing two bags of municipal solid waste from the vehicle and quickly depositing them in the grass, right next to a farm field.
An immediate inspection of the contents confirmed the crime: the bags contained a heterogeneous mixture of paper, plastic, aluminum, packaging, and organic waste—that is, household waste illegally disposed of in an unauthorized and protected area.
Report, seizure and license revoked
The woman was caught in the act. The 37-year-old was reported at large for violations of the regulations regarding waste management and abandonment.

Immediate administrative seizure of the vehicle used for the illegal transport.
Immediate withdrawal of the driving license, simultaneously initiating the suspension procedure against the driver, as required by the strict regulations in force.
The operation, coordinated by the Caserta Provincial Carabinieri Command, is part of a broader plan of intensified controls in recent weeks, demonstrating the police's determination to use all means to combat the phenomenon of "waste tourism" that is ruining agricultural land.
