BENEVENTO – A 300-square-meter warehouse and an outdoor area the size of a football field have been transformed into an open-air landfill and a clandestine workshop. This is what the Carabinieri of the San Giorgio del Sannio Station and Forestry Unit discovered in the municipality of Calvi, where a 68-year-old from San Nazzaro was reported for illegal waste management and activities carried out without authorization on land classified as agricultural.
During the raid, the military found 31 disabled vehicles piled up among piles of used batteries, oil, engines, filters and spare parts, all stored irregularly and without any identification code.
