Casal di Principe – Two married couples arrested after being found in possession of drugs. A swift and targeted operation, launched overnight, led to the arrest of a couple living in Casal di Principe: a 31-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman, both already known to law enforcement for previous drug-related convictions.
The Carabinieri of the local station intervened, engaged in an anti-drug operation. According to the military's reconstruction, the strange movement of people around the couple's home aroused more than one suspicion.
The Carabinieri then decided to conduct a check, entering the apartment for a personal and house search. Their hunch proved correct: inside, they found numerous doses of cocaine and hashish, ready to be placed on the market.
The investigation continued in the residence's outbuildings, where packaging materials, precision scales, and approximately €3.000 in cash were also found. These banknotes, of various denominations, were considered by investigators to be likely the result of drug dealing.
All the material was seized and transferred to the Carabinieri headquarters pending the necessary procedures.
Precautionary measures were immediately taken against the couple: the man was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, while the woman was placed under house arrest. Both remain at the disposal of the judicial authorities, who were promptly informed by the Carabinieri of Casal di Principe.
