Casavatore - A car parked with its engine running on a street in the center of Casavatore attracted the attention of the Carabinieri of the Arzano station. What appeared to be a traffic anomaly quickly turned into one of the most significant drug seizures of the year in the Naples area.
On board the Lancia Y, parked on Via Francesco Caracciolo, the officers noticed five large bags stowed in the passenger compartment. Once opened, they discovered hundreds of blocks of hashish, weighing over 110 kilograms, ready to be placed on the market.
The car was found to be abandoned, and the seizure was formally carried out against unknown persons.
