Casavatore – A splendid morning of sport took place the day before yesterday with the inauguration of the municipal tent, transforming the long-awaited event into a true celebration of sport, energy, and passion.
"A heartfelt thank you to the leaders of the Polisportiva GIMA and Skating Orchidea associations for their valuable participation and ongoing commitment to promoting sporting activities in the area," the mayor was keen to add.
A special round of applause goes to all the athletes who, with performances of great elegance and technique, thrilled us, demonstrating professionalism, talent, and above all, a genuine love for sport. We must continue to invest in sport as a tool for growth, inclusion, and community.
Accompanying the mayor were Democratic Party Councilor Elsa Picaro, Councilor Corrado Sannino, Prime Minister Alessandro Sorrentino, Councilor Giuseppe Marco De Rosa, and the commander of the local police.

Regarding road safety, in recent days the new mayor Fabrizio Celaj announced that the administration is working to make the roads safer and more accessible to all.
He emphasized that the horizontal markings (pedestrian crossings) are being redone to ensure safer and more comfortable mobility for pedestrians and motorists, starting from Corso Europa, passing through Piazza XXX Luglio, the intersection of Viale Marconi and Corso Europa, and Via Locatelli. "But our commitment doesn't stop there," the mayor reiterated.
We will continue working throughout the Casavatore area to improve traffic flow and road safety, and pedestrian crossings will be restored street by street. We ask residents for their full cooperation and patience during this work.

It's important for the mayor to talk about road safety, but I don't understand why the pedestrian crossings aren't already in place. I hope the work progresses quickly and without too much inconvenience to us citizens.
