Casoria - An unexpected outcome for an 18-year-old from Casoria, who had reported to the police station for a simple notification and emerged with a complaint for illegal possession of a weapon. The young man had been summoned to the local Carabinieri station for service of a document.

During routine procedures, however, the soldiers present noticed an intense and unmistakable odor of marijuana coming from the boy.

The suspicion that he might be concealing narcotics prompted the Carabinieri to conduct a personal search. The surprise came when, instead of finding cannabis, a butterfly knife, a weapon with a 21-centimeter blade, emerged from the 18-year-old's pockets.

The weapon was immediately seized. The young man was reported to the Public Prosecutor's Office at large for illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of causing harm.

This article is truly surprising; I didn't expect a simple check to lead to such a serious complaint. It's important for young people to understand the consequences of their actions and the dangers of certain objects.
