Castel Volturno - The line has ended for the lone bandit who, in November 2024, sowed panic in a business on the Domitian coast. The Investigative Team of the Castel Volturno Public Safety Commissioner's Office has dealt a devastating blow to local petty crime, arresting an Italian citizen on serious suspicion of armed robbery.
The precautionary detention order, issued by the preliminary investigations judge of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere Court at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, put a definitive end to the rapid investigation that nailed the man.
The facts date back to last November.

The robbery, carried out with the speed of a criminal raid, didn't end as the criminals had planned. The man fled, disappearing on a scooter driven by an accomplice who was waiting outside, ready to disappear.
The State Police, under the close coordination of the Prosecutor's Office, immediately launched a comprehensive manhunt. The preliminary investigation, described as "embryonic" but extremely effective, allowed investigators to identify the alleged perpetrator in record time.
The evidence gathered was sufficient to obtain an immediate precautionary measure. The robber was promptly located by police officers, apprehended, and, following the completion of the required formalities, taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he now awaits trial. The investigation continues to identify the accomplice driving the scooter.
