Castellammare, 4 reported for illegal dumping near the recycling center.

In Castellammare di Stabia, a video surveillance system uncovered a group of people using the area in front of the currently closed recycling center on Via Fondo d'Orto to dump waste and debris in violation of environmental regulations.

Municipal Police officers, coordinated by local authorities, reported four people, including one already banned from residing in the municipality, and seized the vehicle used to transport the waste. The driver's license was immediately suspended.

The footage documented multiple incidents in which two men arrived on site aboard the vehicle, indiscriminately dumping waste materials. The images allowed us to reconstruct the entire sequence of the spills and identify all those involved: the perpetrators, the vehicle owner, and the waste producer.

Mayor Luigi Vicinanza emphasized the administration's determination: "Those who pollute and jeopardize the health of citizens will not be respite. The cameras and checks by our municipal police are producing concrete results. We will continue along this path without hesitation." The operation represents an important step in protecting the territory and combating illegal dumping, demonstrating the effectiveness of technological control systems integrated with law enforcement.
