There were moments of concern in Vomero, where Via Filippo Cifariello was closed to vehicular traffic this morning due to the collapse of the pavement in two places near number 16.
The City of Naples announced that the area was immediately cordoned off to ensure the safety of residents and prevent accidents. Local police officers, firefighters, personnel from the City's Emergency Management and Civil Protection Service, and technicians from ABC Napoli responded to the scene.
The latter conducted an initial inspection to assess the extent of the damage and determine the necessary measures to restore the roadway. The road closure will remain in place until the inspections and any safety measures have been completed, while residents are advised to use alternative routes until the work is completed.
