There were moments of fear and unease yesterday at the San Siro stadium in Milan, during the Italy-Norway match, when a 24-year-old Norwegian woman reported being sexually assaulted.
According to reports, the girl, feeling unwell, went to the restroom with a friend. Inside, she was allegedly groped by a 25-year-old Egyptian man, a stadium cleaner.
Upon realizing what had happened, the 24-year-old immediately left the scene and joined her friend at a nearby bar, recounting the incident to the attendants present. The man stated that he had approached the girl only to help her, but the State Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances of the incident. The 25-year-old is currently under investigation for sexual assault.
