Local police conducted extensive checks at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium during the match between Napoli and Qarabag. To ensure safety and regulate traffic in the busiest areas, 89 officers and one officer were deployed along the city's main thoroughfares and near the stadium.
During the operation, officers reported two violations of the ordinance prohibiting the sale of beverages in glass containers in the stadium area, a measure aimed at preventing violence and accidents. Additionally, 92 illegally parked vehicles, including 11 motorcycles, were towed away, and 107 traffic violations were issued, including obstructing traffic and parking in restricted areas.
Great attention was also paid to the phenomenon of illegal parking attendants: seven people were fined and the money found was seized. At the same time, nine businesses were inspected, finding irregularities, especially regarding the unauthorized occupation of public land.
The operation is part of the prevention and control plan developed to ensure order and safety during large-scale sporting events, confirming the Local Police's ongoing commitment to combating traffic, illegal activities, and urban safety.

The local police operation appears to have been a good idea to improve security around the stadium, but there are too many fines and checks. Perhaps a more balanced approach to managing traffic and sales should be found.
