The Champions League night at the "Diego Armando Maradona" stadium wasn't just about football. While Napoli struggled on the pitch against Eintracht Frankfurt, outside the stadium, Carabinieri officers from the Naples Bagnoli company were engaged in a vast patrol operation. The focus: illegal parking attendants who regularly take advantage of major matches to occupy streets and parking spaces around Fuorigrotta.
The results speak for themselves: five people, all repeat offenders, were reported for illegally practicing parking, after having already been fined in the previous two years.

During the same operation, the military reported three other people: a 59-year-old man who violated the ban on returning to the Municipality of Naples, and two men, aged 60 and 40, both already subject to a DACU (Denial of Access to Urban Areas). The operation, the Carabinieri explained, is part of a broader prevention plan to ensure order and safety near the sports facility during international events.

It's strange how even during a football match there are problems with illegal parking attendants. Shouldn't they be more closely monitored? Law enforcement seems unable to stop these illegal activities. Why is that?
