Naples - A little over a week after stepping down, Maria Rosaria Boccia has turned the tables and announced her return to the Campania regional election.
The candidate, a leading figure in the coalition led by Terni Mayor Stefano Bandecchi, announced her withdrawal on November 5th, following the notification of a second investigation related to the Sangiuliano affair. This decision is now being completely reconsidered.
From the storm to the new awareness
"There are times when life demands a pause, and others when, with courage and love, you choose to resume your journey," Boccia said, explaining her decision.
"Today I'm back to it, with the same passion as always and a new awareness: that of someone who has weathered the storm and decided to turn it into strength." These words mark a clear turnaround, fueled, he says, by the support he's received.
Bandecchi's role and popular support
Her own party's leader appears to have played a crucial role in this rethink. "I sincerely thank Stefano Bandecchi, who shared my every decision with respect and trust, supporting me without ever imposing anything on me," the candidate explained. Added to this is the emotional support from the grassroots: "His support and the strength of the many people who showed me sincere affection have encouraged me to get back in the game."
The appointment to start again
The political mission restarts with a clear objective: "To help build a region that offers opportunity, dignity, and well-being to all." To formalize her return to the field, Maria Rosaria Boccia will hold a press conference tomorrow at 14:30 PM at the Gran Caffè NAPOLI in Castellammare di Stabia. Stefano Bandecchi himself will be at her side. "It's time to start again, together," Boccia concluded, sending a message of unity and determination.

This return of Boccia is a very interesting change, but I wonder if it's really the right choice for the Campania region. His words are beautiful, but concrete action is needed, not just words.
