The Archaeological Park of Herculaneum continues its upward trend, recording a roughly three percent increase in visitors in the first ten months of 2025 compared to the same period last year. This figure not only confirms an already positive trend, but also suggests an even more brilliant end to the year. The public, now loyal but also increasingly curious, is responding enthusiastically to the special initiatives the Park is launching.

The extraordinary reopening of the Suburban Baths is the clearest proof of this: within hours of bookings opening, the three November dates were sold out. The Roman bath complex, among the best-preserved in the world, once again welcomes visitors on a journey that combines wonder, archaeology, and ancient charm.

In parallel, "A Night at the Museum" continues, offering evening access to the Padiglione della Barca and the Antiquarium at a reduced price every Tuesday and Thursday until November 25th. The first section explores the relationship between Herculaneum and the sea, preserving symbolic relics such as the famous military spear found on the ancient beach. In the latter, the city's perfectly preserved wood and gold objects offer a precious glimpse into the taste and luxury of Roman life.

The evening openings also become an opportunity for interaction: archaeologists, restorers, and architects engage with the public, share behind-the-scenes insights into their work, and demonstrate how the protection of this unique heritage is built, day after day. This experience transforms the visit into a living moment, connecting past and present, excavation and storytelling, research and dissemination.
