Giugliano - A trivial traffic dispute escalated into attempted murder late yesterday afternoon in Giugliano, Campania. On Via Palumbo, a 46-year-old driver brutally stabbed a cyclist after a heated argument, using a professional box cutter with a diamond tip.
The victim is now fighting for his life, while the attacker was tracked down and arrested by the Carabinieri thanks to video surveillance footage.

The victim collapses to the ground next to his bike. The attacker shows no mercy: he gets back into his car and flees, leaving him dying on the asphalt.

Arrest and reserved prognosis
Pasquale Sequino was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and taken to the Poggioreale prison. Meanwhile, the victim of the attack was rushed to San Giuliano Hospital, where he remains hospitalized with a critical prognosis.
