Pomigliano – A morning of exercise and daily routine turned into a chilling crime scene along the Pomigliano d'Arco bike path. Shortly before 10:00 this morning, the routine of runners who frequent the area of the old Circumvesuviana station was interrupted by the discovery of a body lying on the ground.
She is Barbara Terracciano, 45, a woman she met in the city and the mother of two daughters who have just entered adulthood.
The scene that presented itself to the first responders and subsequently to the Carabinieri The report left no room for doubt as to the violence of the incident: the woman lay lifeless, her skull ravaged by a bullet. The most disturbing detail, however, was found right next to the body: a gun. However, it was not a weapon owned by the victim.
