Tense and fearful moments erupted late yesterday afternoon in Giugliano in Campania, where a trivial argument over traffic escalated into a stabbing. A young man was injured on Via Aniello Palumbo, in the heart of the city, before the terrified eyes of residents and passersby.
According to initial reconstructions, the boy was riding his bicycle when he allegedly got into an altercation with a motorist, likely over a reckless maneuver or a violation of the right of way. The argument, initially verbal, quickly escalated into an increasingly heated confrontation.
The man reportedly got out of the car and, at the height of the argument, pulled out a knife and stabbed the young man at least once. The boy fell to the ground injured, while the scene attracted the attention of several witnesses in the area, which was very busy at that time of day.
