The tablet was the subject of a complaint filed at the end of August. It had been stolen from a restaurant overlooking one of the island's most popular spots: Maronti Beach.
Thanks to the original report and the check that unmasked the receiver, the device was immediately recovered and returned to its rightful owner, who had lost it last summer.
The 54-year-old has been charged. He will now face judicial authorities for receiving stolen goods.
