Castellammare di Stabia - It's a golden victory, desired, sought after, and deserved. Coach Ignazio Abate's Juve Stabia not only wins, but also impresses, defeating Pippo Inzaghi's renowned Palermo 1-0, one of the teams in contention for direct promotion to Serie B.
The result, sealed by a gem from the young Cacciamani, was even too tight for the home team given the amount of play produced and the chances created.
Coming off the defeat in Modena and under pressure from the recent postponement of their match against Bari (scheduled for Wednesday night at the Menti Stadium), the Gialloblu needed to send out a strong message. And they did so with an impeccable performance, facing the Sicilians head-on. The Rosanero threatened in only sporadic moves, but above all, they attempted to undermine the game, with a style of play that was at times foul-filled and intimidating.
Cacciamani's Goi illuminates the mind
After coming close to taking the lead with Candellone, Juve Stabia deservedly took the lead in the 38th minute.

In the second half, a forceful response from Palermo was expected, but Inzaghi's team, despite their substitutions, never managed to create any real danger. Indeed, the "Wasps" came close to doubling their lead again when Giorgini hit the crossbar following a corner.
The Rosanero's nervousness reached a climax at the end, when Ranocchia was sent off early for a second yellow card, leaving his team with ten men and making it easier for the home team to control the match.
With this crucial victory, Juve Stabia soars in the standings and, thanks in part to a game in hand, moves back into the playoff zone, just outside the top spots. The win not only brings three points, but also instills great confidence in Ignazio Abate's team, thanks to their strong play and strong mentality.
Now, our minds and hearts are already focused on the next home match, the recovery match against Bari, to confirm this magical moment and dream big.

Juve Stabia's victory was truly important and deserved. Cacciamani scored a great goal that gave the team confidence. I hope they continue to play this well in their next matches, but Palermo shouldn't be underestimated.
