Carabinieri officers from the Maddaloni Company executed a precautionary house arrest order with an electronic bracelet against a 40-year-old man living in Maddaloni.
The order was issued by the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office and was triggered by an investigation which, although still in its initial phase, alleges that the suspect is charged with domestic abuse, extortion, and personal injury to his ex-wife.
The investigation stemmed from a complaint filed by the woman with the Carabinieri at the Maddaloni station. The victim reported having lived in constant anxiety for some time, fearing for her safety and that of her three minor children from the marriage.
According to the story, her ex-husband, unable to accept the end of their relationship in 2012, allegedly engaged in an escalation of violent and stalking behavior over the years, causing her insomnia and a constant fear of leaving the house.
During the complaint, the woman described numerous episodes of verbal and physical aggression, which also occurred in front of children, in some cases causing her serious injuries.
A situation deemed sufficiently alarming by investigators to require the immediate application of a restrictive measure, aimed at protecting the victim and the minors.
The investigation continues to reconstruct in detail the reported incidents and verify any further responsibilities of the suspect.

The article I read is very interesting, but there are some things that aren't clear. I wonder why the woman waited so long before reporting her ex-husband. I hope justice takes its course.
