Another case of violence against a woman has taken place on the streets of Naples, where a 43-year-old man from Acerra was arrested by the State Police after attacking his ex-partner. Officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, engaged in routine territorial patrol, observed the scene on Via Padre Ludovico da Casoria and they intervened without hesitation, reaching and immobilizing the man while he was hitting the woman.
Subsequent investigations confirmed a picture already known to law enforcement: it was not the first time the 43-year-old had engaged in violent and stalking behavior towards his ex-partner.

This situation is deeply worrying and makes us reflect on the violence that exists in our societies. We hope there will be more measures to protect women and punish perpetrators like this man who attacked his ex-girlfriend.
