It was a lively evening in the heart of Naples, in Piazza del Gesù, one of the city's busiest nightlife squares. Yesterday, late in the evening, Carabinieri officers from the Naples Mobile Radio Unit and the Special Company responded to a pizzeria in Piazza del Gesù to break up a fight that had broken out between some young people and a waiter.
According to the reconstruction, a group of very young people were harassing customers and restaurant staff. At that moment, Giampaolo Parmiggiano, 35, already known to law enforcement, apparently lost his temper and lunged at the teenagers, attempting to hit them.
The timely arrival of the patrol prevented the situation from degenerating further.

The situation in Naples is always quite complicated, especially in Piazza del Gesù, where there are always young people causing a bit of chaos. I don't understand why more isn't done to prevent these unpleasant situations.
