Naples - A thirteen-day-old baby was unconscious, suffering from a high fever and severe breathing difficulties. It happened last Thursday in Naples, in a home in the Spanish Quarter, where the terrified parents made a desperate plea for help.
Francesco and Daniele, officers of the Police State police officers on duty at the Montecalvario Police Station. Immediately realizing the gravity of the situation, the two officers picked up the child and began a veritable race against time: sirens blaring and the road cleared, meter by meter, to the Santobono Children's Hospital.
Upon arrival at the emergency room, the newborn was unconscious. Paramedics resuscitated and stabilized him after minutes of extreme stress, managing to restore his vital signs.
