NAPLES – It will be a tense Champions League night between Napoli and Eintracht Frankfurt, and the city is preparing by locking down. The prefect, in consultation with the Interior Ministry and law enforcement, has ordered a long series of extraordinary measures to ensure security ahead of tomorrow's match at the Maradona stadium.
A ban on ticket sales to residents of Frankfurt and the province of Bergamo, where Atalanta fans twinned with Eintracht, had already been imposed in recent days.

The Ministry of the Interior has also reinstated temporary internal border controls on November 3 and 4 to monitor the possible movements of foreign fans. In urban areas, restrictions on the sale and consumption of alcohol will also be implemented: from 2:00 PM tomorrow until 2:00 AM on November 5, the serving of alcoholic beverages will be prohibited inside the stadium and surrounding areas, while the sale of bottles, cans, or glass and rigid plastic containers will be prohibited in the city center starting this afternoon.
Maximum attention will also be paid to traffic: the Naples ring road will close the Fuorigrotta exit from 7:30 PM until the safety measures are over. The city is gearing up for a major event, ready to protect its safety both on and off the pitch.

The idea of blocking people doesn't seem right to me, because we should do the opposite: let them come to watch the game. But I understand there are security issues to consider, let's hope everything goes well in the end.
