Of particular concern to investigators were some wounds on the victim's head, the origin of which remains, at this time, shrouded in mystery.

Investigations are ongoing to determine whether the injuries were caused by an accidental fall, a violent act, or other causes. Carabinieri officers from the Poggioreale Operations Unit and the local San Giovanni a Teduccio station quickly arrived on the scene.

The Carabinieri have launched an investigation to reconstruct the man's last hours and shed full light on the circumstances that led to his death. No explanation is currently being ruled out, ranging from illness to an accidental fall, to the much more serious crime of murder. Further developments are expected in the coming hours, with authorities conducting investigations and interviewing potential witnesses.
