Naples – Via Caracciolo transforms into the Lungomare Arena for the second edition of the Napoli Racing Show, scheduled for December 6th to 8th. The free event attracts enthusiasts, families, and the curious with an enhanced lineup, combining competition and spectacle thanks to a track twice the size of 2024, designed to maximize safety and visibility. The ambitious goal: to serve as a launch pad for a Formula 1 Grand Prix, perhaps in conjunction with the America's Cup already hosted in the city.
Traffic remains free despite the circuit's expansion. Piazza della Repubblica remains open, with direct access from Viale Dohrn and Via Caracciolo towards Piazza Vittoria, avoiding disruption to motorists.
"Naples deserves an international motorsports event," Mayor Gaetano Manfredi declared on the sidelines of a press conference at the Naples Tennis Club. "It has tradition and an ideal location. Formula 1 would be a miracle, just like the America's Cup. Major events triumph here: the city is changing and attracting more and more visitors."
Enzo Rivellini, the event's promoter, adds: "We've doubled the circuit with drivers in Lamborghinis, Porsches, and prototypes. Lots of side events, new model launches, and zero traffic impact. It's a celebration for families and enthusiasts, a preview of the Mediterranean Grand Prix we're pursuing."

The Naples event looks interesting, with plenty to do, but I hope there aren't too many traffic problems. Safety is very important, and they need to be prepared for any eventuality. The motorsport tradition is strong.
