Naples – A simple roadside check turned into a textbook drug operation. Officers from the Arenella Police Station, conducting a checkpoint on Viale delle Mimose, stopped a 42-year-old man driving a car who immediately displayed a suspicious and impatient behavior. The officers' hunch proved correct: inside the vehicle, they found four packages containing approximately 20 grams of marijuana.
The search then continued at the man's home, where the full extent of the illicit activity emerged. The officers discovered 97 packages of hashish weighing almost one kilogram, 86 packages of marijuana weighing over 700 grams, two precision scales, packaging materials, and €1.280 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
